Critical Language Scholarship Program Information Session
The Critical Language Scholarship Program (CLS) offers a fully funded intensive summer language program for one of eleven critical languages. Funded by the U.S. Department of State, CLS offers UMBC students the chance to start or improve on languages taught here, such as Arabic, Chinese, Hindi, Japanese, Korean or Russian. It also offers instruction in languages not taught here - Indonesian, Persian, Portuguese, Swahili, Turkish or Urdu.
