Faculty: Study Abroad Course Approval Workshop

The Study Abroad Office and the Registrar's office are hosting a faculty workshop to discuss the verification of transferability (VOT) process for study abroad programs. We will cover:
- the new, updated VOT form
- an introduction to the new study abroad application portal www.goabroad.umbc.edu
- an open discussion of best practices for course approval with guidance from the Registar's office, discussion of common challenges and concerns, and ideas for future streamlining
This workshop is intended for you if you advise study abroad students or want to learn more about the study abroad process at UMBC. We don't anticipate using the whole time but left a window for discussion and questions.
