Developing a Faculty-Led Study Abroad Program

Info Session for a Summer or Winter Course Abroad

This session is for current UMBC faculty.

The Education Abroad Office within the Center for Global Engagement (CGE) is responsible for supporting you to develop proposals for short-term faculty-led study abroad programs. While travel is currently suspended, we can work with you now to develop a program to be offered in a future summer or winter term.

This meeting will cover an overview of the proposal process, COVID-19 considerations and limitations, timeline, and responsibilities of a faculty leader, and benefits, followed by individual meetings to discuss your program idea with Education Abroad.
