This year Campus Race to Zero Waste (formally recyclemania) will look a little different since most of us are not on campus. Help us come together and celebrate by sharing a tip, trick, or practice you do to reduce your waste @ home. A zero waste practice is anything you do within your routine that reduces waste. Below are some examples:
Freeze veggie scraps to make vegetable broth
Repurpose glass jars for cups or planters
Craft with items that would traditionally be thrown away
We will be celebrating your sustainable actions by sharing your favorite zero waste hack on our Instagram story.
How to participate?
We will be collecting zero waste practices until February 26th, and will post them on our Instagram story for the month of March. It is very simple to participate, just use our google form to submit your zero waste practice and a corresponding photo: https://forms.gle/WyHhxRAuF8sBWeLp8
