Under the same national context and the same constitution, the issue of one's sexual orientation becomes a racial issue. The larger consequence is being a combination of being a minority belonging to both of these.
While the article speaks mostly about the economic and social struggles, "The New Black", is a documentary based on the LGBTQ community and how it is perceived in the African-American community.
