How well do you cope with change in your personal and professional life? Do you have the skills that you need to move with it, not against it?
The aim of this workshop is to begin looking at change more objectively, to understand our habitual orientation to it, and to create strategies to enhance our capacity for resilience in the midst of it. In this experiential session taught by Mike Noll from UMB and Jill Wardell from UMBC, we will dispel change myths and uncover change truths, reveal the predictable phases of change, and harness your own wisdom from your lived experiences successfully adapting to change. We will also have time to discuss organizational change challenges and will share strategies for creating a change resilient mindset and ways to assess and articulate your capacity for change. Participants will be challenged to walk away with a new change mantra and 1 actionable nugget to implement to increase well-being in personal and/or professional life.
