‘Zap the Gap!’
Appreciating Multiple Generations for an Evolving Workforce
Wednesday, November 7, 2012 · 8:15 AM - 12:30 PM
Professional Development Day 2012 for Faculty and Staff
Managing today’s work force can be a dilemma. Working collaboratively and efficiently are more important than ever. Because of the culture in which each generation was raised, their varying work ethics can present real challenges to managers, team leaders, and colleagues.
This year’s Professional Development Day is dedicated to outlining the dominant generational forces in the workplace and how each generation’s “signposts” drive motivation, and influence organizational loyalty and delivery of customer service.
As a participant, you will receive a roadmap that will enable you to tackle your specific generational challenges and learn how to move from conflict to collaboration. You’ll laugh while acquiring tools you can use immediately to improve your multi-generational relationships with students, customers, co-workers and in your everyday personal life.
Continental breakfast will be provided. Supervisors are asked to encourage employees to attend.
Registration for this workshop is now closed.
If you register for a workshop and your attendance plans change, please let us know. We will keep waiting lists for our programs. Please arrive early so we can begin promptly at the event time.
