Change: Turning Uncertainty into Opportunity
Book Discussion for all staff and faculty
Tuesday, June 4, 2024 · 2 - 3 PM
Online
Most people don’t like change. Period. Full Stop. So what happens when change happens anyway? Is it really a “keep up, or get left behind” scenario? Should we just throw our arms around change and give it a big hug? Should we run and hide from it, hoping it will just go away?
Please join Melody Wright, Manager of Learning & Development, and Change Champions Mona Ahmad and Ronita Walker, for a five-part virtual book discussion of FranklinCovey’s Change, How To Turn Uncertainty Into Opportunity. We will meet weekly on Tuesdays at 2:00pm via Webex, from May 7th-June 4th.
“While every change is unique, there is a predictable pattern to change. By understanding that pattern you can build skills to pilot your team [and yourself] through the waters of disruptive change.”
Together we will discover:
- Step-by-step instructions on how to engage teams throughout the change process
- How the Change Model makes change actionable and predictable
- How to minimize the disruption of change
- Where most change initiatives fail and how to adapt
Please register, by filling out this form. Please commit to attending all sessions. You will be sent a calendar link with all session dates and instructions for book pick up.
