Responding to Sexual Assault & Relationship Violence at UMBC
A Training for Faculty & Staff
UMBC faculty and staff are invited to this one hour session to learn about the Voices Against Violence Program, as well as the updated reporting guidelines for incidents of relationship violence and sexual assault.
At the end of this session, you will be able to clearly identify the University’s protocol for responding to and reporting incidents of sexual assault, relationship violence, etc. on UMBC’s campus; understand the steps a staff or faculty member must take when reporting such an incident; comprehend the importance of reporting this information, both for the victim, as well as the University; clearly recognize the role and members of the Sexual Assault and Relationship Violence Response Team; and be familiar with on and off campus resources for victims of violence.
