Responding to Sexual Assault & Relationship Violence at UMBC
A Training for Faculty & Staff

UMBC faculty and staff are invited to participate in a training to learn more about the Voices Against Violence (VAV) Program, as well as the reporting guidelines for incidents of sexual assault, relationship violence, etc.
At the end of this session, participants will be able to clearly identify the University's protocol for responding to and reporting incidents of violence on UMBC's campus; understand the steps one must take when reporting such an incident; comprehend the importance of reporting this information, both for the victim/survivor, as well as the University; clearly recognize the role and members of the Sexual Assault and Relationship Violence Response Team (SARVRT); and be familiar with on and off campus resources available for victims and survivors of violence.
