Productive Work Habits Series for Faculty and Staff
Friday, April 22, 2016 · 1 - 2 PM
In todays’ fast-paced and complex business world, learning to as Stephen Covey puts it: “sharpen the saw” as it relates to continued development, gives employees a critical workplace advantage in reducing stress and improving efficiency. Come join UMBC faculty and staff colleagues in learning techniques, strategies, and tools that have the ability to enhance your personal and professional effectiveness and skyrocket productivity.
This workshop takes off from where the Beginner Excel course ends, focusing on the tools, resources, tips and tricks end users NEED to know: Advanced sorting and Filtering, Pivot Tables (made easy!), Subtotals (made easy!), Group and Outlining; conditional Formatting and more. Most end users don’t use Excel’s easy to learn and use features because they don’t know about them, or they tried them once and failed. Learn how you can confidently master Excel from Buzz Merrick, an instructor well known to the UMBC community as informative, easy to understand and fun!
