Productive Work Habits for Faculty and Staff
Wednesday, October 5, 2016 · 1 - 2 PM
In today’s fast-paced and complex business world, learning to as Stephen Covey puts it: “sharpen the saw” as it relates to continued development, gives employees a critical workplace advantage in reducing stress and improving efficiency. Come join UMBC faculty and staff colleagues in learning techniques, strategies, and tools that have the ability to enhance your personal and professional effectiveness and enhance productivity.
Saving multiple versions of a document and sending infinite attachments is a fad of the past. Google Docs allows users to collaborate and edit documents simultaneously. Docs instantly saves revisions and creates a revision history. In this session, participants will learn how to create a doc, share it with others, set permissions, and view a revision history. Add-ons to this system will also be reviewed, featuring HelloFax and HelloSign.
