UMBC Retriever Talks
2018 Faculty and Staff Professional Development Day
Thursday, April 12, 2018 · 2 PM - 4:30 PM
Join us in an inspiring TEDx style conversation highlighting six of UMBC's best and brightest. Our UMBC Retriever Talks event focuses on three themes which are central to UMBC's core values: inclusive excellence, community and innovation. Come support your colleagues and hear ideas and stories that will:
- foster learning,
- widen perspectives and
- inspire action
When we think of UMBC, we might think of this community as a physical space with buildings and grounds, etc. However, the truth is, this community is enacted everyday through all of us, making a difference in the lives of the people we serve. If you choose to attend, you will walk away with practical ways you can make a positive impact both in your job and in your community. We hope you join us for this exciting conversation.
