Act As If: A Journey to Your Future Self
Career Development Essentials Series
You've been cordially invited to an Act-As-If Party. You will arrive as you will be in the year 2023, having accomplished all of the goals you've long held for your career (yes, even those lofty ones!).
Bring artifacts that support your accomplishment (e.g., book covers, business cards, title of TED talks, etc.). In this highly experiential workshop, we will embark on a journey to 1) identify and unpack our limiting beliefs, 2) challenge our historical and cultural narratives about who we are, what we are capable of, and how one gets ahead, 3) explore neuroscience breakthroughs that can lead to a quantum career leap, and 4) reverse engineer the mindset, skill set, and presence needed to help achieve your career goals.
This session will be co-facilitated by Susan Hindle, Assistant Director, Internships and Employment and Jill Wardell, Director, Workplace Learning, OD & Wellness.
This is a three-part series. You can earn a digital badge if you attend all three workshops and complete the requirement. The badge requirement will include a short reflection paper at the end of the series detailing your career insights gleaned from the sessions and how you plan to take action in more effectively managing your career.
Please register for Managing Your Strengths and Career Development Essentials.
