UMBC Professor Houbing Herbert Song is the general chair of the 2027 ACM International Conference on Trustworthy and Responsible AI and Computing Systems (TRUST 2027), which will be held on March 7–9, 2027 in Washington, DC, and online. UMBC faculty Dong Li is a local chair, Manas Gaur is a workshop chair, and Lara Martin is chairing a symposium.
TRUST 2027 will bring together researchers, practitioners, policymakers, and educators to advance the development, governance, and deployment of secure, resilient, explainable, and fair AI technologies. Its program includes six flagship symposia, thirty specialized Emerging Area tracks, an Education Symposium, and workshops and tutorials, covering topics from foundational AI research and system security to domain-specific applications in healthcare, infrastructure, and autonomous systems.
