Hi anime fans! This is just a general wrap-up letter to everyone to celebrate the success of Retrievercon in its first (and hopefully only!) virtual setting for 2021.
On behalf of all the officers, I would like to thank everyone who hosted panels, participated in the cosplay contest, or even just attended for taking the time to come and see what we all had to offer you. You truly helped to make Retrievercon 2021 more special than it already was--and we hope you decide to come see us in person if we return to it in 2022!
Despite all of the technical difficulties and the overall barrier of technology, we hope everyone who attended felt the same spirit of comradery and fun that you would have in person. We did our best to make this a great Retrievercon again, and we have definitely learned a lot from this whole experience!
Again, we'd like to thank all who attended--whether you played in our game shows, watched any of our showings, promoted your business, or just stuck around in the chatrooms, you all made this convention feel just as nice as it may have been in person.
We're still determining dates for next year's Retrievercon now, but until then, we hope you all have a well-deserved spring break and join us at our regularly scheduled meetings starting again on March 26th. There may be an unofficial meeting on March 19th, though, so stay tuned for any news about that!
Thank you so much again!
