Returning Adult Learner Discussion Group!
Calling attention to all RALs!
Join us in our first meeting of the semester!
This program is designed to support undergraduate students over the age of 25 who are in pursuit of earning a Bachlors Degree. Students receiving a returning adult learner scholarship are required to participate in this program designed to support their personal, academic, and career goals of adult learners at UMBC.All adult learners at UMBC are invited to attend the monthly meetings and workshops designed specifically to meet the needs of adult students. All workshops and events are posted via our myUMBC events page.
Meetings will be held virtually on Mondays at 4pm on: September 14th, October19th, November 16th and December 7th.
In our first meeting we will be introducing the facilitators as well as participants, reviewing the Brave Space Guidelines, discussing time-management and self-care, and and considering how we can feel more supported on campus.
These meetings are facilitated by Aislinn Suarez-Flores and Zoe Brown.
