Trans and College
A Panel Event and Reception
Tuesday, September 25, 2018 · 5:30 PM - 6:30 PM
This is event is for trans+ students, staff, and faculty and their cisgender allies. At this panel event, invited guests will talk about their experiences of being trans and/or gender variant in college (and beyond the campus bubble!) and provide best practices for navigating the higher education landscape and trans inclusion. Post-panel, UMBC departments will share campus resources as they relate to meeting the needs and experiences of trans community members at UMBC.
After the panel, trans students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to continue connecting at the LGBTQ Student Union Trans Tuesdays event at 7:30pm. More details will be shared at the conclusion of the panel.
This event is hosted by the Women's Center and The Mosaic Center as part of our Spectrum programming and is co-sponsored by the LGBTQ Faculty & Staff Association. Contact either office for further details or questions.
