Women's Center Advisory Board Faculty/Staff Discussion
Topic: Navigating Next Steps in Your Career
Monday, March 23, 2020 · 12 - 1 PM
(Canceled)
The Women's Center Advisory Board presents a 2-part discussion series for UMBC faculty and staff. Both discussions will be hosted in the Women's Center which is located on the ground floor of The Commons.
All faculty and staff are invited to this brown bag lunch series that will center around the experiences of women working in higher education. These discussions will be semi-structured, with a facilitator starting the discussion, and then allowing for attendees to share experiences and connect with others. Feel free to bring your lunch and join us in the Women's Center lounge for this 2-part series.
During this discussion, we will focus the conversation around why it is difficult to say "no" in certain situations and explore various strategies that can be used to help navigate how to say no and when to say yes.
Monday, March 23rd: Navigating Next Steps
During this discussion, we will dive into how to know when it is time to take the next step in your professional career.
Please note that while this is a 2-part series, you are not required to attend both to participate in these discussions. Feel free to come to one or both!
