Returning Women Students: Graduation/End of Semester Party
Congratulations to our UMBC Adult Learners !
Wednesday, December 9, 2020 · 12 - 1 PM
This event centers the experiences of UMBC undergraduate adult learners with a specific focus on women students. An adult learner is a student 25 years and older. For more information about our programming and support for women adult learners, visit our website.
Every conclusion to a semester is worth celebrating and celebrate we will. Let's gather and honor the hard work and persistence of returning women students/adult learners at UMBC. We'll carve out special time to celebrate our graduating seniors to include "pinning" our graduating students from Returning Women Student Scholars + Affiliates Program.
Agenda Includes:
Welcome
Graduation Pinning Ceremony*
Game (with a chance to win a Women's Center tote or t-shirt!) - have kahoot.it ready on your phone or tablet if you'd like to play
End of semester reflection
*For graduating students, please feel free to invite your loved ones to attend the pinning ceremony. While they are welcome to stay for the full event, we've planned the pinning celebration for the beginning of this event in case they'd like to sign-off after the celebration.
