About the Opportunity
Kona Ice is a fun, community-focused mobile shaved ice business serving schools, neighborhood stops, community events, and fundraisers. This seasonal role is a great fit for college students looking for a paid, active job with flexible scheduling and a positive team environment.
- Location: In-Person (Local Events)
- Position Type: Part-Time, Paid
- Season: April–November (Training begins in March)
- Hourly Pay: $18/hour + tips
- Schedule: Flexible (weekday daytime, evenings, and some weekends)
Key Responsibilities

Drive and operate a Kona Ice truck to scheduled events and locations

Provide friendly, upbeat customer service to children, families, and event attendees

Interact professionally with teachers, event organizers, and community members

Handle basic point-of-sale transactions

Set up and break down equipment at events

Represent the Kona Ice brand with energy, reliability, and positivity
Qualifications

Current college student or recent graduate

Valid driver's license and willingness to drive a Kona Ice truck (training provided)

Comfortable operating a larger vehicle

Strong communication and customer service skills

Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently

Enjoys working outdoors in a fast-paced, people-focused environment

Additional Information
This is a seasonal position running from April through November. Shifts may occur during the day, evenings, and weekends, and scheduling is flexible based on availability. Applicants must be comfortable working outdoors in warm weather.
