Women in STEM Cybersecurity Symposium & Career Expo
N-STEP presents Women In STEM Cybersecurity Symposium and Career Expo. The event theme, "Education Opens Doors and Changes Your World!", focuses on career enhancing information exchanges with the APG community, students, faculty, and defense industry on cybersecurity education and workforce development needs.
The Career Expo targets the youth and young adults as they prepare for college and career decisions to increase their awareness of the many different career fields and opportunities available to them in cybersecurity, healthcare, manufacturing, and other industries. Planned activities include gaming room, drones, obstetrics simulation,
3D printing, emergency management services, life skills activities, Grades K-5 medical training, science, and math learning activities.
N-STEP will also offer HCC Campus Bus Tours to increase the communities’ awareness of degree and certificate programs offered with a goal of stimulating HCC enrollment.
Featured motivational speaker is Mr. Anthony Trucks, former NFL Athlete, American Ninja Warrior on NBC, international speaker, host of the Aww Shift podcast, and founder of Identity Shift Coaching.
