The annual Senior Success Seminar will be offered by the Career Services Center on Friday, September 14 from noon until 5:00 pm.

This workshop will prepare participants to take advantage of the on-campus interview program (application deadlines start mid-September) and maximize UMBCworks (our web-based job posting system), career fairs, corporate visibility days and other networking events designed to move your job search forward.

Included in the seminar will be an employer panel on topics such as resumes, job fair preparation and professional skills development from the employer’s point of view. Concurrent sessions will offer advice on making a lasting first impression, successful interviewing and perfecting your online image. UMBC Career Services staff members will be joined by representatives from Next Century, National Security Agency, PayPal, Northrop Grumman, Kennedy Krieger Institute, Boxtone and more.
