Aimed at upperclassmen, this original Career Athletes feature seminar
presentation educates student-athletes on their unique skill set and how
to articulate these skills and traits in an interview situation. Topics
range from knowing your competition to knowing what is expected of you,
understanding how to innovate and differentiate yourself online to
having a personal brand. Elite exercises on professional networking and
interview preparation are also addressed in this interactive session.
Themes that are brought forward in this session represent areas such as
"proper dress for success," "identifying the right career game plan,"
and "developing an effective professional resume." Upperclassmen receive
a detailed introduction into establishing an online network with those
that can help further one's professional career.
