Protothon 2024 Competition Rules and Incentives
Team Composition:
Each team must consist of 2 to 5 members. Team members can be from undergraduate, master’s, or PhD programs—all academic levels and programs are welcome to participate.
Submission Requirements:
Submissions must be in PowerPoint presentation format. Email submissions only to product@umbc.edu or dwali1@umbc.edu.
Deadline: November 18, 2024, by 10 PM EST.
Final Competition Day: November 21, 2024 (4 pm EST - 7 pm EST)
Presentation Content:
Include design models, sensor choices, and a predictive model for cloudbursts using open-source datasets.
Evaluation:
Judging will be based on the solution’s practicality, innovation, and reliability.
