Parks & People is seeking UMBC Retrievers to join us for the 30th Anniversary of Superkids Camp. As a Literacy Counselor intern, you will assist in a classroom of 15-18 elementary students, transforming summer learning into an environmental adventure. Interns will gain hands-on experience in classroom management and urban ecology while helping Baltimore thrive.
During your time at Super Kids Camp:
- You will deliver high-impact literacy and math instruction to prevent "summer slide."
- Turn our 9-acre campus into a living classroom
- Foster a new generation of environmental stewards and conduct character-building activities, and lead exciting nature-based field trips.
- Directly support families of Baltimore who are asking for high-quality summer opportunities.
