Getting Started in Research
Career Month Workshop

Are you interested in obtaining a research internship but are not sure where to begin? Do you think you need research experience to find research experience? If so, then attend this lunchtime event and learn how to begin your journey toward gaining research experience.
The following UMBC undergraduate students and alumni will share how they got started in research and offer tips and resources about how to navigate this process:

Eric Joshua Garcia ('17) - BS, Biological Science
These students and alumni have held research experiences at the following organizations throughout their undergraduate careers:
- UMBC Department of Biological Sciences
- Baylor College of Medicine
- The National Institutes of Health (NIH)
