- "Freshman Friendly" denotes employers that are open to talking with first year undergraduate students. Even if you aren't looking for a job or internship right now, you can visit these employers' tables to get some experience/practice chatting with recruiters. You might learn something about an organization that you will want to work for in the future.
- "Employer Partners" and "Event Sponsors" are highly engaged organizations that have an invested interested in recruiting UMBC students and alumni.
- See the list of employers by college and the alpha list to find employers recruiting for majors/industries that match your field of study.
- Make sure to check out the list of positions each organization is recruiting for. If your interests/field of study align, plan to connect with those employers at the fair. Don't settle for just visiting the big name companies.
