The Game Jam Bootcamp is an interactive, beginner-friendly workshop designed to help students of all skill levels prepare for game jams. Open to all UMBC students, this event will provide an introduction to the fundamentals of game development, covering ideation, rapid prototyping, teamwork, and essential development tools. No prior experience is required—whether you’re a programmer, artist, writer, or just curious about making games, this event will give you the foundation to participate in a game jam with confidence.
