Campus Life Operations Graduate Assistant
The incumbent will work on site in The Commons. They will be responsible for direct supervision and management of the Gameroom and the Campus Information Center areas consisting of approximately 20 student staff members. In addition, they will help supervise and support Campus Life Operations with building management, maintenance, staff supervision, and training. Requirements:
- A flexible schedule to include evenings and weekends
- Ability to perform manual labor including moving furniture and equipment up to 50lbs
- Customer service experience
- Ability to manage emergency situations (i.e., building evacuation, shelter-in-place, injuries, etc).
- Perform other duties as assigned
Preferred Experience:
- Performing building maintenance including working with power tools and paint
- Using and troubleshooting audio-visual equipment like projectors, laptops, tablets, displays, etc.
- Doing elevated work on ladders and motorized scissor lifts
