Ready to take the plunge by quitting smoking and beginning a whole new lifestyle? Join a Freedom From Smoking program to receive help as you reach for your goal of being smoke-free.
Freedom From Smoking is a FREE 6-week program that will help you quit smoking by discussing obstacles you'll face and how to conquer them. Each meeting is one hour, once a week, for six weeks. In a group setting you'll talk with others like yourself who are trying to quit. You may even be eligible to receive free quit smoking medications like the nicotine patch, gum, lozenge, or prescription medication Chantix.
All students, faculty, staff, and the public are welcome to attend. For more information or to register for the program, contact University Health Services at 410-455-1558 or mdark1@umbc.edu.
