Dr. Brian Souders, Associate Director of UMBC's Center for Global Engagement, will be in the Honors College Lounge on Monday, Oct. 28 at noon to discuss two amazing fully funded international opportunities for Summer 2025. 

Gain international research experience in Germany this summer. The German Academic Exchange Service administers the DAAD-Rise summer research program, a fully funded summer lab-based research program STEM majors throughout Germany. Application deadline for this program is November 30, 2024.

Gain critical language skills during this fully funded summer language program! The Critical Language Program, funded by the U.S. State Department, offers the chance to start or advance one of eleven different languages during the summer - including Arabic, Chinese, Hindi/Urdu, Japanese, Korean and Russian. Application deadline for this program is November 19, 2024.
