During the session, you will find out about the types of Fulbright awards, application components, timelines and UMBC's support throughout the application process. Dr. Souders has guided dozens of UMBC students to successful Fulbright applications; let this be your chance to learn more about the program and discover which funded award best suits you.  Students of any year and any academic major are invited to attend!

Students graduating in May 2025, December 2025 and May 2026 are eligible to apply for the 2026-27 academic year competition cycle, which will open March 31, 2025. UMBC's application deadline is August 27, 2025.
