How to Be a Better Ally: The Unemployed & SES Crisis
Looking at what's to come in 2021
Wednesday, December 2, 2020 · 4 - 5:30 PM
This co-facilitated workshop series focuses on various underrepresented and/or marginalized populations. Our goal of the series is to provide UMBC community members with the basic practices for allyship, specifically for the highlighted population.
This workshop will focus on how the COVID-19 pandemic will continue to create long-lasting impacts on those who socioeconomically disadvantaged due to unemployment, underemployment, the impending housing crisis, and ways to help those who may be struggling.
All undergrads, grads, staff, faculty, and alumni are encouraged to attend! For any questions, please email Erin Waddles, Coordinator with Initiatives for Identity, Inclusion & Belonging at waddles@umbc.edu or i3b at i3b@umbc.edu.
For our uploaded event recordings, attendee lists, works cited, and other materials, please check out our Mosaic, Interfaith, and Pride Centers Events Folder. Materials will be available in this Google Drive within one business week after the event unless otherwise specified.
