Incident: Sexual Assault
Location: Smoking Shelter on Park Road
Date/time: October 28, 2018 at 2:00 a.m.
On November 7, 2018 a female student reported to police that on October 28, 2018 at approximately 2:00 am, she was at the smoking shelter when she was approached by a male requesting a cigarette. When she told him no, the male then reached into her front pants pocket searching for her cigarettes and groped her buttocks. The male was described as approximately 6'2", heavy build, light skin black male, mid 20's, with short hair and glasses.
Individuals with any information about this incident please call the UMBC Police at 410-455-5555. Police have increased patrols in the area and safety escorts are available by calling 410-455-5555.
