Applicants must have at least one major in the College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences and have applied for a study abroad program through UMBC’s Center for Education Abroad The application is available on UMBC Scholarship Retriever.

Dr. Steven Caruso will be sharing stories from last year's program, giving course overviews, and talking about cultural excursions included in the program fee.
Just for Faculty:
Applications for the Fall 2025 Global Learning Lab are due tomorrow, September 3. The Lab is a cohort-style, semester-long program that provides a framework for faculty to exchange best practices and innovative models for expanding access to global learning opportunities over a series of four workshops. Global Learning Fellows receive a $1,500 professional development stipend to support a global learning project.
