Enjoy a light lunch or snack and meet MLLI professors and students. Learn about language & culture study, how we have integrated professionalization into our course of study, how you can manage to study abroad, and more.

  Enjoy an evening learning about Senegalese culture through film! Join the UMBC English, Dance, and MLLI Departments and The Dresher Center for the Humanities (CIRCA) to watch Atlantiques and Faat Kine. Refreshments and movie snacks will be provided!

  Enjoy an afternoon learning about Senegalese culture through music, dance and storytelling! Performances by Amadou Kouyate, Mama Cheryl Hinton, West African Dance & Drum, and Keur Khaleyi African Dance Company! This event is sponsored by the UMBC English, Dance, MLLI departments & The Dresher Center for the Humanities (CIRCA).
