New in Concur: Delegates Dashboard for Arrangers
A simpler way to manage travel, requests, and expenses
The new Delegates Dashboard provides delegates and assistants with a centralized workspace to manage travel, requests, and expense activity for the people they support. Instead of switching between individual user profiles, delegates can view multiple travelers in one place, quickly identify open items, and take action.
See it in action: Check out this video demo of the new dashboard to see exactly how it works.
What can you do with the Delegates Dashboard? From one centralized view, delegates can:
-
View multiple travelers: See requests, trips, and expense reports across the users they support.
-
Track open work: Quickly identify items that need attention and see their current status and recommended next steps.
-
Filter by user and Concur product: Select a specific traveler and view information from Concur Travel, Concur Expense, or Concur Request.
-
Plan more efficiently: View upcoming and past trips, travel requests, expense reports, traveler preferences.
What work items appear on the dashboard? The dashboard surfaces available work items that may require attention, including:
-
Concur Travel: Approval Deadline Approaching, Incomplete Trip (Trip Needs Completion), Trip on Hold
-
Concur Request: Travel Request Pending Booking, Travel Request Sent Back, Travel Request Unsubmitted
-
Concur Expense: Expense Report Not Submitted, Expense Report Sent Back, Missing Expense Receipt
How does the dashboard determine urgency? The dashboard uses due dates to help identify items that may need attention. The default due date is generally 30 days after the trip ends or report-related activity, depending on the work item. Some items follow different timing rules. For example, Approval Deadline Approaching is based on the actual approval deadline rather than the 30-day rule.
Important: Available expense notifications are based on the purchase date, not the travel date. As a result, an expense-related notification may appear before the associated trip takes place.
How many travelers can a delegate manage? The dashboard currently supports up to 50 travelers per delegate. This limit is expected to increase over time as additional use cases are supported. When managing travelers, the list follows a predefined alphabetical order. Delegates can also mark frequently managed travelers as Favorites, which places those travelers at the top of the list for easier access.
