Wellness Wednesday
Avenues in Complementary & Alternative Medicine
Most of us would be surprised to hear that Western herbalism draws from both traditional systems of herbal medicine as well as contemporary evidence-based medicine to support and restore optimal health.
While there are many gifts of western medicine, it is not the only approach that can aid in overall health & well-being. In today’s Wellness Wednesday session, you will learn about several modalities that fall under Complementary & Alternative Medicine: Herbal Medicine and Acupuncture.
Come learn how these alternative, growing modalities are making inroads gently partnering patients to recover and nudge their body back to optimal function and empowering them to align with their own body’s innate wisdom & wellness. You will learn about these modalities, what health concerns can be addressed through this work, and how to find a competent practitioner.
