Moving with the Breath 5-Week Yoga Series
Do you find it difficult to maintain a steady breath during your asana practice? Are you holding your breath on AND off the mat? Join Jalisa Monroe, Informational Technology Specialist, to explore a gentle asana practice and learn pranayama techniques designed to relax the mind, detoxify the body, and reduce stress.
During this 5-week series, we will let the breath guide our movements on the mat. Each class will cover a breathing technique and flow through 40-minutes of a hatha/vinyasa inspired sequence.
Please bring a mat and water bottle. If you do not have a mat, please email the yoga teacher, Jalisa Monroe, directly at email@example.com.
Modifications for beginners and options for more advanced yogis will be offered, all levels are welcomed. During your practice, always remember to honor and respect your body.
This series will take place on the following dates: 3/23, 3/30, 4/6, 4/13 and 4/20.
