Meditation in Nature

In this time of uncertainty and stress, having a self-care practice is important in helping us reclaim our own inner wellness, despite external circumstances. Join us for a Meditation in Nature session where we combine mindfulness meditation, sensory awareness activities, and the reflective practice of journaling in nature. The natural world is a powerful teacher for how to be with change. As we physically distance, this doesn't mean that we isolate indoors behind screens. Join us in this reflective session as we unplug, reflect, and connect with ourselves, each other, and the wisdom of the natural world which is always present and available to us.
Sessions will be held virtually and are weather pending. Please wear appropriate footwear and comfortable clothing. We also invite you to bring a journal, a writing utensil, and something you can sit on (towel, chair, etc.).
This program is open for the entire community. No experience necessary.
Registration is required. Participants will receive a link with the credentials for the session 24 hours beforehand. Please download the Webex app to your smartphone.
