Wellness Wednesday: DIY Winter Crafts
Interested in finding simple yet impactful ways to weave wellness into your professional and personal life? If so, please join faculty and staff colleagues for Wellness Wednesdays. Each session offers information, resources, and/or immersion into different wellness modalities that are supported at UMBC.
Join us this Wellness Wednesday for three simple and affordable DIY projects:
- Make Pinecone Bird Feeders with your little ones and attract some feathered friends
You will need:
- Pinecones
- Peanut butter
- Birdseed
- Twine or String
- Stay toasty this winter with DIY Reusable Handwarmers
You will need:
- Cotton-based fabrics
- Rice
- Sewing supplies (Can use a sewing machine or hand-sew)
- Use nature's bounty to create a beautiful and decorative Pinecone Wreath
You will need:
- 12 - 16 inch Foam Wreath form
- 1 Roll of Burlap, Linen, or Cotton ribbon
- Lots of Pinecones
- Hot glue gun and hot glue sticks
- Spray Paint (optional)
