There a several walking, hiking, and biking maps available at the Fitness and Wellness group site. We have maps for walking around campus, links to the CERA Trail guide and maps, and links to hiking and biking close to campus, at Patapsco State Park.
You can also track your distance with the AHA's Start Walking Now website and smartphone app. Join as a UMBC member, log your distance, and even set up goals and departmental challenges.
We also have our lunch time Fitness Basics class that combines walking and basic strength training intervals. Class meets every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 12:30 on the RAC indoor track.
