Inclusive Excellence in Action is a dynamic series highlighting key equity, inclusion, and social justice areas, practices, and behaviors at UMBC. These sessions aim to provide an opportunity to learn from on campus experts in the Division of Institutional Equity (the Office of Equity and Civil Rights, Accessibility and Disability Services, the Women's Center, and the Center for Social Justice Dialogues) as well as campus partners, and off-campus experts.
Join us as we welcome Dr. Sakeena Everett from the UCONN Neeg School of Education as she presents her work on grief impacts communities and what are some stratagies that we can develop to acknowlege, support, and build capacity for intersectional grief literacy to support our colleagues and students accross campus.
