UMBC Ph.D. Student Receives Best Poster Presentation Award at Annual Semiconductor Research Corporation Meeting
UMBC Ph.D. student Hossein Pourmehrani received the Best Poster Presentation Award at the annual Semiconductor Research Corporation (SRC) meeting, selected as one of only four awardees from more than 50 SRC projects. The award recognized his research and presentation on “Cross-Layer Strategies for Secure and Efficient CiM-Based AI Accelerators,” an SRC project supported by AMD, IBM Research, and Siemens EDA and led by Dr. Naghmeh Karimi. Projects and presentations were evaluated by industry liaisons working with SRC.
