The Restoration Series

This summer we are presenting a series of three workshops entitled "The Restoration Series". These workshops are designed to motivate, inspire and prepare you for healthy, active living. Whether you haven't worked out in a while, are new to working out all together or just have questions about how to go about it in the right way, we are here to help. The workshops will surpass the physical and teach you how to properly fuel your body and mind in preparation for movement.
Workshop 1: Renew
It is time to look at "working out" in a different light. This workshop will focus on the mind. We will teach you tools to alleviate stress and anxiety and help you set realistic, achievable fitness goals. Joshua Day (studying Physical Therapist) will help you develop a plan to get moving again.
Workshop 2: Refuel
What moves you? In this workshop we will focus on movement preparedness including pre-workout routine, how to stretch, and a nutrition talk by campus dietitian Sarena Glenn.
Workshop 3: Refresh
In the last workshop of the series, we will focus on moving in a safe manner. We will determine the appropriate time to push harder and when to take a break. This workshop is designed to give you tools to continue working out on your own.
