Let's Be About It: African American Health Fair

In honor of Black History Month & UMBC's Critical Social Justice Week, join us at a mini health fair highlighting services and resources on health disparities disproportionately affecting the African American community. All services will be FREE! Some services to include:
- Blood pressure screenings provided by UHS
- Diabetes screening & education from Catonsville Pharmacy
- Breast cancer education from The BreastLink Program
- Nutritional information with our campus dietitian
- Mental health screenings & information from The Counseling Center
- Birth control information from UHS Health Educators
- HIV/AIDS education from the Peer Health Educators
- Tons of free giveaways
- And much more!
Thursday, Feb. 19th (3-6pm) in The Commons Gameroom (entrance on 2nd floor).
This health fair is tied to a discussion that will be held the day before on Feb. 18th.
Light refreshments will be available.
