The Language, Literacy, and Culture Program is pleased to announce that Carole Njoroge of LLC Cohort 26 successfully and skillfully presented her dissertation research proposal on May 13, 2026.
Carole's project is titled, Beyond the Broadcast: Reimagining Media’s Role in Kenya’s Maternity Health Policy. After her presentation, Carole had a substantive discussion with her committee about the next stages of her work. The committee agreed that the project is worthy of doctoral research and helped Carole consider some key issues as she moves forward into the research and writing.
