October is American Archives Month, a celebration of the importance of archives: collections of documents, images and artifacts from the past. UMBC's Albin O. Kuhn Library is marking the month in several ways, one of which is to run a series of essays by members of the UMBC community about their experiences with archives. My essay kicks off the series. It's called Stone Upon Stone, and it's about how I found my place in the history of my undergraduate institution. Read it here. You can check out some of the Albin O. Kuhn Library's archives here, here and here.
