Please join us on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 for a special book talk and reception featuring Dr. Kris Marsh, Associate Professor of Sociology at the University of Maryland, College Park.
She will discuss her newly released book The Love Jones Cohort: Single and Living Alone in the Black Middle Class, and join us for a reception and an opportunity to meet with graduate students on a smaller scale later in the afternoon.
This event is hosted by the Black Faculty Committee. Cosponsors include: the Center for Social Science Scholarship; Department of Africana Studies; Department of Education; Department of Gender, Women's, + Sexuality Studies; Department of Sociology, Anthropology, and Public Health; and the School of Public Policy.
